Becoming an e-Listener with Us
JOIN OUR e-LISTENING TEAM
We call those volunteers, who join our Ministry specifically to respond to emails, our 'e-LISTENERS'. They join a dedicated e-Listener Team, and their role is to 'listen' to what the emailer is really trying to communicate through the written word, represent to them the Lord's love and compassion, and encourage them into the Lord's presence through prayer.
This is no easy task. But, if you are called by the Lord to this wonderful Ministry, we offer a comprehensive e-Listener Preparation Programme to help you build the skills and confidence you need to perform this role in the way the Lord has commissioned us to do it.
WHO CAN JOIN US?
Our family of volunteers comes from every mainstream Christian denomination. All we ask is that you acknowledge Jesus Christ as the only Son and Word of God, that you know Him as your Lord and personal Saviour and that you are committed, by the grace of God and in the power of the Holy Spirit, to follow His way of love.
In this Ministry, we don't seek to preach or persuade emailers of our point of view. We seek only to listen compassionately to their distress and help them to bring their situation to the Lord in prayer.
AN INCLUSIVE MINISTRY
Listening to others via email and supporting them in prayer is something that, with a little preparation, every Christian can do. Whatever your state of health, physical ability, age or situation, you have the potential to become an e-Listener with us, and to represent to those who contact us the love and compassion of Jesus Christ.
We all operate from home, so your location is no barrier to volunteering. All you need is a landline or mobile, a pc or tablet and an internet connection.

New Kapporet is a Christian family. We offer you genuine Christian fellowship. We will support and care for you as best we can, especially with our prayers in times of personal difficulty. However, the real benefit you will experience in joining us is the quality time that you spend with the Lord when responding to the emails we receive. We are conscious of His love and support in all we do. This really is the Lord's Ministry and all we do we do for Him.
